CONNECTION – For cultural and professional growth beyond borders is a cross-border cooperation micro-project involving the CIAC of Ivrea and the Campus of Trades and Qualifications of Excellence Tourism International Hospitality of Nice.

Through collaboration, the project promotes educational innovation with a focus on sustainability, digitalization, and inclusion. The goal is to train a new generation of professionals capable of meeting the challenges of the cross-border job market with exceptional skills. In this way, teachers and students become key players in cultural and professional growth that celebrates the connection between gastronomy and the local area, transcending borders.

INNOVATION AND SUSTAINABILITY IN THE RESTAURANT INDUSTRY: OUR OBJECTIVES
  • Excellence in training: We are developing a joint teaching model between Italy and France that integrates cutting-edge technical skills and bilingualism;

  • Responsible catering: We actively promote waste reduction and the use of short supply chain products in the Canavese and Alpes-Maritimes territories;

  • Virtual work platform: We are creating a shared digital space to facilitate the exchange of documents and governance between cross-border partners;

  • Related practical labs: We organize real-time cooking sessions using technological equipment that connects classrooms across borders;

  • Raising awareness in the area: We are implementing a campaign dedicated to the community and local businesses to promote a sustainable gastronomic culture.

The CONNEXION project is co-financed by the European Union under the Interreg VI-A France-Italy ALCOTRA program.
